Nightingale Community Portal
I've been farming Mineable nodes in the Ascended realms, and when I mine some of the nodes, plant products drop, or just random loot. It's the same with some mobs. I've noticed it more in the higher settings, like 160 lvl settings.

Could you look at your map and check the Minor Realm card? It sounds like you may have the Trickster card in play it gives some whacky resources and makes you super floaty.
