Bastille of Intellect Not Recognizing Correct Pattern

Ascended Gloom Swamp puzzle won't recognize the correct pattern. I hit the tones in the correct order. There's only 3. The 2nd one is glitched halfway into a statue but i can still interact with it, and the game isn't recognizing it as a correct tone when hit 2nd. Never seen this bug before. Really odd.

The mechanism in question is laying sideways on top of a pillar that is lying flat on the ground. So the mechanism is horizontal. The top half of the mechanism is glitched inside of a statue. I can interact with it. Hit it with knives, or even walk up and interact, but the puzzle just doesn't allow it to be the "correct" input.
