Stave buildings do not provide environmental protection

I build an expansive stave building and each time I reload the realm all my crafting stations are soggy and I keep hearing my character being affected by the hail effect without being direcrtly exposed to this. I can't keep building ALL the stations OVER and OVER again to fix the issue

    UPDATE: This is greatly affected by large windows, perhaps add shutters or some other option to close off windows when it starts raining?
