Intel Gen 13 laptop unable to run/Dx12 popup with intel IGC/Potential Black screen for early gen Intel 13

so, from what i understand, my friend attempted to run the game, we checked her drivers, we checked her windows, shortly after running the game the device's keyboard ceased functioning and stalled out/restarted.
we thought nothing of it till the keyboard went non responsive during windows 11 log in prompt (she tried running it again) and Boom. Blackscreen and she can't even use discord right now.

I'm updating this as I go.. (yes I'll post this from what i can glean and come back to edit)


from what I understand its a upgraded Lenovo 2015 laptop that got kitted up with more current gen gear but sadly cannot send details. me and the friend group though noticed the pc was fine till it tried running nightingale. we suspect this may be due to how the initial start up of the game may have done something that just hit the metaphorical "kill switch" in the thing. potentially a looping sequence that halted/repeated in the back ground while stalling Dx12 to cause the error. due to the Eula i don't wish to dig further then that, and she still hasn't given us her spec's
(she can run every game under the sun.. just this one murdered her laptop)

so supposedly the identifying information was melted, but she hasn't any confirmatory material.. so we can't send it in the report, and we understand that this matter may be disregarded due to a lack of photographic evidence.. regardless we're submitting this in hope to get a fast route to prevent this from happening to others.

here are the steps from what i recall (1/3/2025)
- start game on Intel laptop supporting Windows 11 with a Intel Integrated Graphics system. (if it can run Cod6 at 60 solid fps on high settings while mayhem and flares are flying, its on her benchmark)
- start game from steam installation via a secondary internal. Drive D: 1TB free space
Nightingale V0.6.0a.312118 or so from what I can gather
- let game run, watch for "no Dx12" response window asking for you to "install dx12 to read/initiate game" or error; "dx12 not found" when device clearly has Dx12.
- restart pc immidiately after error to attempt to flash fix it.

• re-open steam client, re initiate game through rapid "pressing start".
  
  
  I'm submitting this on my friends behalf due to the game completely crashing and black screening her laptop (I'm not there in person so I can't confirm if it burned her PC out, nor can i provide pictures of said burned out laptop.. but supposedly the device caught fire when she disconnected mid call.. we cant get any photos/details from her till we either get the device back on, or replace it entirely.
  
  (also please add a "other option" to "mode" category.. i wouldn't count "connecting/crashing on start up as a desired "mode".. bit of humor in there..
