Suddenly I find my base overcome by the most insane glare and deep shadows, I couldn't find any settings to try mitigate this. Will include a somewhat panoramic screenshotting

I sometimes get the same issue. I restarted the game and the glare was still there, and it goes really crazy when I'm in shaded spots, shaded spots also appear completely black.
I was messing around with my graphic settings one by one to troubleshoot. I initially had [Effects] set to 'Quality', but found that changing it to 'Balanced' fixed it, but setting it back to 'Quality' didn't allow me to reproduce the issue.
Additionally, if possible please attach your DxDiag or let us know what your GPU/CPU are. Also please verify that your graphics drivers are up to date, thank you!
