Tree spawned in my estate and I cant get rid of it Merged

I logged on today and found a tree in the middle of my estate. I tried chopping it down and noting. So, I deconstructed my estate all around it and still I cannot chop it down. My axe it getting worn as I chop but the tree remains invulnerable and unscathed. I really like the location I picked and would like to expand in the direction of the tree, but it's in the way.
