Deer spawning inside house Merged

I built my house next to the giant portal in the abeyance realm. For some reason, the green deer spawn inside my house, but ONLY when I have all the doors closed? I'm not sure if there's some backend math that's measuring the number of deer in the area and the "area" is limited to inside my house when the doors are closed, prompting it to spawn more? At any rate, it's rather annoying and unimmersive to leave a door open all the time, especially at night.

Steps to Reproduce Build a house against/on the cliff slightly to the NE of the giant portal on the south end of the abeyance realm island, then close all the doors.
