Shack Thatched Balcony opening

The Shack tileset is very limited, but that's another topic.

One of the cool things in the Shack tileset is the Thatched Balcony. I like the way it extends out to give space to an area. My problem is with the side openings. That's so unsafe, and leaves the balcony open to invaders, the weather, and dangerous falls. I would like to suggest that the sides of the balcony have pieces that can put in place on the sides to close them off. A half-width wall might do it.

Yes, I am a weirdo that builds floating sky castles and impossible geometry, but still tries to ensure that safety railings are present at all times!
