New Major Realm Card series, Defense, Chase, Maze

It would be cool if we had a series of new Realm cards. Some things apply to them across the board, just like other realm cards that already exist. This refers to the biome type and difficulty level. As I know that certain types of game play do not appeal to every player, the realm cards would allow the player to choose if they want to engage with this play style. I will detail each category of realm type.

Defense:

A realm where building something generates a signature that attracts aggressive enemies. The more you build, the more are attracted and the harder they get. This might require some revamping of structural health so that the better quality / tier of building, the more the structure can withstand in damage.

Rewards for engaging: would be the drops from enemies that would scale with the baseline difficulty of the realm and scale up based on signature.

Chase:

A realm type where there is continual environmental damage to players and anything the player builds, additionally the signature generated would ramp much stronger or faster than a defense realm. The signature would also not cool down, but continually ramp up as long as the player remains in the realm. The only way to cool the signature would be to reset or leave the realm. Over time if no player is in the realm, it would slowly cool off.

Rewards for engaging:
Loot drops from enemies and a higher chance of the rarer material spawns, such as ores etc.

Maze:

This is probably the most difficult realm type as far as implementation goes. A randomly generated maze that you can explore and try to find your way out of. It could include a signature system to attract enemies the longer you are in the maze. Aside from returning to respite or logging off there could be 2 methods of leaving the realm.

Method 1: Find the portal at the end of the maze that teleports you to a reward room and then to the watch, crossways or Nightingale City.

Method 2: Find the necessary materials to build a portal and leave. This would not take you to the reward room.

This realm would share some mechanics with Fae Vaults in that there could be different puzzles of boss type enemies to defeat with the realm before the exit portal activates.

Rewards for engaging: Loot from enemies and the reward chest


All 3 types of realms would also be usable as basis to make entire quest chains for rewards or new content.
