[Suggestion] Expand the Crafting System with Realistic Alloys

Hi team,

First of all, thank you for your amazing work on Nightingale — the crafting and survival systems are already strong, but I’d like to propose an expansion to the metallurgy side that builds on existing materials already in the game.

Right now, we only have a few basic alloys (bronze, brass, steel), but many high-end metals such as titanium, nickel, cobalt, and iron are already present. In real-world metallurgy, these metals form advanced alloys with distinct properties.

Here are a few real alloys that could enhance gameplay:

  • Invar (Iron + Nickel):
High thermal stability. Could boost durability or tool efficiency.

  • Electrum (Gold + Silver):
Excellent magic conductivity. Perfect for magical items, catalysts, or aesthetic gear.

  • Titanium-Cobalt Alloy:
Lightweight and resistant. Ideal for high-speed melee or ranged weapons.

  • Nickel-Iron Alloy:
Great for technomagical or mechanical systems. Could enhance reload or energy transfer speed.

  • Titanium-Steel-Cobalt Composite:
A potential top-tier alloy for advanced weapons, armor, or hybrid builds.

Why this would be a great addition:

  • These alloys are real, well-known in science and industry.

  • All base materials already exist in the game.

  • Encourages strategic exploration and mining.

  • Expands the variety of crafting builds without adding complexity.

  • Fits the game's techno-magical theme perfectly.

I hope this idea can inspire future additions to Nightingale’s crafting system — it would make material collection even more meaningful and unlock new weapon/armor design paths.

Thanks for reading!
