Nightingale Needs Essence Conversion: A Case for Tier Flexibility

I’ve been thinking a lot about the essence system in Nightingale, and I believe there’s a missing piece – the ability to convert higher-tier essences (like T4) into lower ones, specifically T3.

Right now, the only option is converting everything down to T1, which makes farming for mid-tier resources a bit frustrating, especially for completionists or players looking to fully unlock their progress tree.

For instance, once you’re deep into the game and gathering T4 essences, going back to farm T3 content feels like a step backwards. Allowing conversions between higher and lower tiers would make the gameplay more fluid and enjoyable, without forcing players to regrind outdated content.

According my research you need over 3000 Tier 2 Essences and over 8000 Tier 3 Essences to fully unlock the Progression Tree.

Alternatively, we can replace all Tier3+ and Tier3++, name them Tier4, and use the correct essences.
