Just did the first Boss fight. The mechanics were alright and it felt much better than the fights before 0.5.
It was really noticeable however that there was no fitting music for the fight. Just the usual growl and screeching of the dungeon. I would really enjoy proper boss music for these kinds of fights.
To be more precise on the type of music, I really enjoy the theme of the main menu. Some kind of combat boss music that reuses those instruments and hints at the existing (and gorgeous) melodies would be perfect.
