I’d like to request a new UI feature that allows us to view all nearby chests at once. I’m willing to craft an item for this functionality if needed.
Going through each chest one by one when I want to build a new base or give an item to a friend shouldn’t take so much time. A system that lets us see and organize all storage from one interface would be fantastic, and being able to deposit items into the appropriate chest directly from this UI would be a huge time-saver.
Palia has an interesting system where putting down chests expands the count of total space available. When you open one chest, you get to see the combined storage, filtered by tabs for item type.
However Palia also has a limit to how many chests you can put down and you can only have chests in your personal home instance. Not clear it can be done in Nightingale where chests can be anywhere and you are only limited by build limits.
Also, each chest in Nightingale can have toggles for what the contents can or cannot be used for -- survivor access, crafting items, and building.
Until a better system is found, maybe try to organize your chests better and label them with the Rename function, so you can find what you are looking for quickly.
