could possibly add in a spell, probably in t 2 or 3 that would create a raincloud that would either follow you or be moderately sizeable to mass water farms. this way people will have had time with the mechanics and feel like theyve gainde a substantial bonus in their ability to farm

This would make watering cans more useless than they currently are.
You can play Tempest and lay down around 90+ pots. By the time you put seeds in all the pots, the first dozen or so plants will have already sprouted. Not sure how other people are using their Recruit to auto-plant seeds but I can't get that to work.
With such as spell you don't need to switch Minor Cards between rain and yield. But yield is already ridiculous given how fast plants grow so the only pain point is watering the plants and Tempest card takes care of that.
