The controls using the controller in this game make combat less enjoyable. They are clunky under duress in heavy combat. I suggest adding full pause when using radial wheels and coming up with a way to quickly swap between two right hand items. I suggest tapping or double tapping Up on the directional pad to swap between the first two right hand hot bar items. The idea is to put your two primary weapons you want to use in combat in the first two slots and using the Up direction to quickly swap between them both.
Alternately you can implement another full Hot bar using the Up direction to swap between the Hot bars allowing us to move left and right on each Hot bar instead of the slow and confusing one direction loop method we have now.
