Please Removal Animal Fibre = Thread when Dyes are Implemented

Greetings Devpeoples,


This post is to request that when you implemented the Dyes feature that is coming in a future update, that at the same time could you please remove the ability to use Animal Fibre as Thread for crafting purposes.

A primary usage of Meat Threads has been for working within the coloration systems, and to stack specific attributes, since meats provide the main benefits for melee and ranged damage, and movement speed.

However, with Dyes, a large part of the usage of meat threads will no longer be required. As such, focus should be on separating the Fibres from Hides and creating attribute diversity, rather than having meats overriding all fibre options.

Meats should be food, but they shouldn't be more than possible minor things like Line (for fishing). When it comes to clothing, that should be what Hides are for. At this time it's worth mentioning that even using Hides with Textile slots is actually -less- effective than using meat to make durable cloth, and this honestly strikes me as a broken purpose.

Fibres have lacked a place to excel simply due to meat shirts being a possibility. Removing meat shirts will allow Fibres to have their own unique place within crafting, that can be expanded upon with greater diversity among materials and attributes available.
