The visuals of the characters look a little too awkward/scary/underdone

This game has some of the most beautiful graphics I've ever seen, but an area that I feel falls flat is the characters. In a game with promising character customization, I wish they were more visually appealing--like Baldur's Gate 3 level. They look very old compared to the beauty of the rest of the graphics, apparent in the eyes and hair (head hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes). Visually appealing and highly customizable characters are often what can sell me on a game.

  • Bodies: The proportions just feel a little off. The arms are especially long and lanky, and the torso also feels too long. The entire body is very... nubbly? too, like the skin is pulled taut against the bones. If plausible, it would be amazing to see full customization, like resizing limbs, waist, hips, neck, shoulders, etc. and being able to adjust muscle and fat mass.

  • Eyes: The eyes are terrifying. Even if you soften them all the way, it looks like your character is in constant shock. They also feel a bit cartoony compared to the rest of the graphics.

  • Eyelashes & eyebrows: The eyelashes are very speckly and look like they're encrusted with layers upon layers of mascara. For the eyebrows, it almost looks like too much attention was placed on every single piece of hair. Graphically, both the lashes and brows look way too sharpened.

  • Hair: The hair has a similar issue to the lashes and brows where it's too sharpened. Also would love to see more hairstyles, especially long ones.

  • Makeup: The makeup is splotchy and doesn't appear well-blended. It also has a violent cut between the waterline and eyeshadow, which looks unnatural. Also, more blush options are a must, with some brushing over the nose and farther up the cheek.

  • Sliders: This is more a quality of life thing, but I'm not a huge fan of the grid positioning in character customization. I think it'd be more straightforward if each drop-down had horizontal sliders. For example, brows could have a slider for vertical positioning, a slider for brow closeness/separation, for length, and for thickness.

This game has endless potential and I'm loving it so far. I would LOVE to see improved character graphics since they mean a lot to me in a game.
