Hi team,
First of all - I'd like to thank you a lot for your hard work since the launch of the game. It is a breath of fresh air to see developers listen to feedback from the community and do their utmost best to address concerns.
One thing I've noticed being rather difficult as a new player is the fact that the whole inventory looks the same =(
This makes it difficult to understand what the hell is it that I am carrying in the first place. And how to differentiate between an AXE I've literally just crafted to another one that has a similar power number but because of infusions etc... And on top fo everything - Trying to find my newly crafted shirt/dress in the mess of bullets, ropes, and SO MUCH else in my inventory is taking a lot of time....
I am no UX designer or anything and I've already seen that you are using color coded backgrounds for item quality? Or Rarity? One of these....
But for me as a starter where most of my gear and items in my inventory in general have the same grey background it is overwhelming and takes me way too long to find anything...
My only suggestions that come to mind from a 5 minute think about it is - Probably make the inventory squares bigger and the window take larger space on the screen. Enlarging things will make it easier to recognize them...
The other thing I would of suggested is make the items have a colored outline.... Ergo:
All weapons should have an orange glow around the item.. All wearable gear should have a blue glow around the item, and certain items (Crafting materials or whatever) have no glow around the item sprite at all....
This way at a glance it'll be easy to recognize that I have 14 craftable items broken down by an axe, then another 3 crafting items, and then some armor, and then some food etc...
Even better - Make the default sorting of the gear via item types rather than ABC...
I've not noticed if there was a search window in the inventory thing, but for people who know the name of what they are looking for should use a search function, and the whole ABC/ZYX categories to be removed altogether from sorting in the inventory rather than being default.
But that being said - Even when I am sorting by item type, it is still rather difficult to find specifically the armor I have just crafted and the augments I want to put on it as they are separated by too much tatt between them

Why are equipped items shown in menues of item transfer? Why would I want to move an equipped item into storage or give it to an NPC?
