Auto add from inventory when crafting is very spotty, often fails

Combine types when storing like items. (ie stacking)
I have 5 types of bones already, requiring 5 separate storage spaces. The appearance of each is identical. Can you not allow stacking of like items a bit more? Its kind of over the top and inefficient right now. Thank you.
Switching companions resets allowed behaviors but toggles show as if the settings carried over

Auto-Add Resources from chests not working sometimes so I have to have it in my inventory for it to work. My companion doesn't add his resources by himself either.
I am playing offline and everything goes into inventory but I cant get rid of anything. I use wood for fuel, still have the wood. Stone to build, still have the stone. Try dropping item, it drops and still in inventory.
