Cannot complete Font of Secrecy Crowned Gate qu

In the Font of Secrecy crowned gate quest, I found all of the glyphs, configured the obelisks properly and received the command to "Salute the Crowned Door". I'm saluting the gate but nothing happens and I cannot realign the obelisks, so I can't complete the quest.
