Since the latest PTR and in Live as well, I've noticed that I am no longer able to free-build in the air. In the patch before, I was able to raise items up with R+mousewheel a relatively infinite height. In other words, I made a bunch of stuff float. The effects were amazing and I loved it!
If I try the same items with the same method now, the item will only raise up 2 clicks of the mousewheel before the wireframe turns red. This limits my ability to complete the glorious magickian school of Logwarts.
Hopefully this is but a fleeting bug and not working as intended.

I has found that when I create a foundation, I can only raise it up (R+mouse wheek) one full block and a ground level foundation. Used to be able to raise a column 5 or 6 blocks high without much effort. growl, growl, snarl, snarl.
Editing to add that I can craft on a shelf, but removing the shelf also removes the item it was supporting. :(
Hoping this is an unintended bug as I cannot complete a build I was working on prior to the patch.
Hit submit instead of newline. Oops.
Steps:
1. Go into Build / Edit mode.
2. Select item to build / move.
3. With the wireframe for the item visible and ready to be placed, hold the R key and use the mousewheel to raise the item until it turns red.
Expected Results:
Raise the item until finger cramps or the item is lost sight of.
Actual Results:
Item can only go up two "clicks" before the wireframe turns red.
