I am planning on playing the game with friends. I have progressed a significant time in the game after the Realm Reborn reset, and was not able to access the Social menu. It simp;ly stated that "Social features are not available in Offline Mode". I have not knowingly chosen to play in Offline Mode, and I cannot find any setting to allow me to switch to online mode. Creating new characters has resulted in the same result.
There is no information online regarding this issue, except a single reddit thread of only a few messages that suggests that online availability and the social menu should be unlocked after the initial tutorial and arrival at the Crossroads.
Same here. I've played a lot of hours in the offline mode. Now Iam in the endgame and wanna switch to online mode but it doesnt work... I've searched the internet but can't find a solution (because its not possible to switch this way). Now Im not playing and waiting for a fix :(
I have the opoposite problem. I want to copy my online character to an offline profile, but my game at some point stopped prompting to choose to play Online or Offline. My game is stuck in online only mode. I've combed all the in-game settings/options and can't find anything to change it.
