I have anxiety and I really enjoy nightingale but the bound... freak me out. Its not really their appearance i'm freaked out by but just... the noises. It really stops me from enjoying the game. It would be nice if, like the arachnophobia mode, there was a mode/slider to turn enemy sounds off?
The one that annoys me is the will o' wisp lookin' things that float around. The ones you can grab essence from.
Not because they're unsettling, but because they sound like the traditional collectable noise used in many games, and make me instinctually react like something interesting is nearby.
I have clearly been conditioned.
