The building system is absolutely still miserable. Please allow us to toggle snap/ free place. Also, please give us half and quarter sized foundations, floors, walls, half and quarter sized stairs and also different perhaps SMALLER variety of stairs outside the massive ones you've given us?
The ability to mirror objects to reverse their placement would be useful. None of the stairs match up properly to doorways, floors or each other. Despite snapping being on, they don't snap to or on top of each other. This prevents you from having a fluid set of stairs spiraling upwards neatly in one column. They all look so awkward and cannot be rotated or placed in the center of two foundation pieces, either. The anchors needed to build a second, third or more floors are tedious in number and placement requirements for these anchors need to be rehashed, too.
I cant have a nice big house without various "support" beams sticking through the center of every damned room because i had the audacity to build floors above them. I've rebuilt my house more than ten times now to no avail, the placement requirements make impossible any size appropriate or aesthetic build.
*Example: Why does the Tudor staircase have multiple support beams blocking their entry point?! They're SO UGLY. You cant put them anywhere because then there's beams just sitting there in the center of the space. This is not only visually unappealing, but prevents movement. Even worse if you put a door before them, as it is off center and partially blocked by these beams.
Allow us also to move blueprinted or placed but not completed walls, floors, doors and the like, the same way we can move benches. Foliage also still remains regardless of foundation placement, forcing players to place foundations higher than the terrain with stairs leading up to the structure entry point. Please enable some sort of terrain flattening and demolishing of foliage beneath foundations.

i can agree to this, don't get me wrong, some of the tilesets are lovely, though i noticed they removed one of the tile sets that kept overlapping with itself, still though, i've noticed a problem with building especially along hills, the building does need to be fleshed out and i wouldn't mind seeing some different stairs that doesn't make me feel like im making a house for the BFG when i make a second story
I really like the building system so far and I think the designs are gorgeous but I agree I'd like more versatility and sleeker designs for tiles. I agree the staircases are a little clunky with the amount of space they occupy. I'd also love some half-sized tiles - both height and width - which would allow us to build in awkward spaces. Also agree that the ability to move blueprints around would be amazing and perhaps a toggle that lets us delete a blue print entirely as well as individual tiles. Actually the ability to destroy an entire building with a toggle would be great too - although I realise this could be fraught with disaster. Could we have a key bind similar to a Ctrl + Alt + Del (our choice of keys) to make sure we don't destroy large buildings by accident?
Having said all that - I'm so enjoying my return to the game and working things out with the tiles we have does foster a 'mother of invention' mind set. :)
