Pepys box should have container settings just like other storage. I don't necessarily want the contents of Pepys box to be automatically used in crafting. This setting should be set on a per-realm basis so it can be different in different realms.

Male outfits are split between upper and lower (shirts and pants) but female outfits aren't. Seems to me that there would be greater fashion variety and expression if they were split into bodice & skirt (or whatever terminology is best).
