Colors in item customization swap to the wrong color

When using the glamour station to customize items I noticed some of the "lower tier" colors will switch to the highest tier of that pattern after hitting apply.

For example, all other tiers of Death weaver spider will appear as T3 Death weaver spider

This occurs on a lot of different skin colors for fibre, hides, and leathers.

Here is a list of the ones I have found with this issue:

  • Carnute

  • Achlis Deer

  • Beezleboar

  • Fabled Carnute

  • Hexham Mongrel

  • Haddock's Ox

  • Waywolf

  • Bawcock's Fishgoat

  • Taweret's Hippo

  • Monarch Locust

  • Fabled Harpy

  • Everheart Dear

  • Bandersnatch

  • Leporidon

  • Feorrswine

  • Khepri's Scarab

  • Selket's Scorpion

  • Widower Spider

  • Elephas

  • Death weaver spider

  • Harpy

  • Tiddalik

  • Weald Bear

  • Pihrat

  • Galumph

I am not having this issue with any of the "Plant fiber" variants Or any of the Boss colors or metals or woods.
I acquired all of my animal color variant through collecting animal parts. and most of the other colors for that matter too. I only had to purchase the Bound and Metal packs.

It happened to me a few days before the patch, I checked a color guide online for colors and used T2 Death weaver mats to craft the umbrella (also I didn't have enough of T3 mats), expecting to get nice yellow pattern, but got light blue and brown instead.

I am told this issue also happens when the colors are unlocked with purchases as well. So Step 1 of Repro should just be "Unlock all color variants"
