Have a Refined Textile Station with a Simple Tailor Augment next to it. When crafting Thread, its yield bonus never applies even though it is specifically listed. The yield does change when crafting Cloth.
Have not tried other refined products except Twine, which also does not have increased yield.
I tested all currently available items craft-able on the excellent textile station. Charm cords, and foil don't receive the bonus yield, but that is expected based on the augmentation description. Rope, wick, twine and thread also don't receive the bonus, not sure which are considered thread products, but I would assume thread at least would get the bonus. Durable cloth, lining and cloth all get the bonus as expected.
