Chopped down a tree for its wood, including its stump. But logged back in later to find that stump still there somehow. Hitting it with the axe does not result in any damage, and it now has become invincible.

To confirm, do you have plant pots or other farming structures on a foundation near where this stump is?
If possible, a screenshot for reference would be greatly appreciated.
Got a similar problem cleared the area of trees been fine for a while, came back on after a break, they have grown inside my house and cannot remove them.
I am also having this problem but with fully grown trees.
Oh! Yes, kind of. Not on foundations, but there are farming structures nearby. This is the spot in the Abeyance where one finds the Sickle and Watering Can.
