Trees returning even when stump is removed, can't chop them back down. Merged

Trees I clear out from around my base keep respawning even when I remove the stump and when they return I can't chop them back down, they are either invincible, or my axe goes straight through them as if they aren't there.

Mode Both Online & Offline
Impact It doesn't impact my ability to play or progress
