Oberon's Bounty on Ribbon Wood different than on regular trees

On regular trees, Oberon's Bounty causes all the wood to be dumped in a pile at the tree stump shortly after the tree-falling animation. Before the wood appears, it cannot be collected.

With Ribbon Wood Trees, Oberon's Bounty immediately makes the wood available. As soon as you hit the tree, hold "E" to collect and the wood is pulled into inventory. You can collect the wood without seeing the material drop. Otherwise it seems to work just like regular trees.

Not clear if this is a sign of something bugged.
