Currently workstations are limited to 4 active augments regardless if more/others are build in it's vicinity, which feels kinda arbitrary especially for workstations like the workbench & sewing station which could utilize a lot more. This limit forces players to build multiple workstations around augments where each workstation is 'specialized' for a certain task.
Thus i would request to remove that limit to let us build a workstation that uses all it's augments in it's vicinity.

Since many of the augments now only works on specific tools, the limit is pointless.
I spent an entire day working on my crafting room, took me hours to get the augments right. This has got to be reworked, because most people wont get it, which means they are taking sub-par gear into tier 3 (and the higher tiers).
A possible fix would be a toggle installed the inspect frame where (is for example you had 7 augments and you needed a specific four augments) you could toggle the 4 your wanted for that craft. Having 4 crafting stations and moving augments in and out of the room is a non starter. I've already lost two friends I recommended the game who joined and quit. Not everyone is a Min/Max'er.
I agree that augments are really cool, but they can also be really annoying. The main issue is that they don't have enough slots, so players have to build multiple workstations around them. This makes it difficult to keep track of which workstation is using which augment. To fix this, I suggest allowing augments to be placed in a central location, such as on a shelf like Knick, and increasing the number of slots per augment to 10. This would make it easier to keep track of which augments are being used and allow players to build a single workstation that uses all of its augments.
Dev just needs to do the next: Every slot for augment at workstation need to have dropdown menu with list of nearest augment.
So u just select 2-3-4 augment u want to use at work station. Also, augments just have big radius of work rather line of sight

I will prefer just changing minor card instead of doing 11 workstation and 3 for clothes.

Just to represent the opposite end of the argument - the augment limits are fine. Moving augments around or building new stations is also alright. Having one station "do everything" only clutters the station and the room that it's in.
I agree also. Now I build several benches in small 1x1 huts with augments. 1 for each tool. Just to get max bonus.
Would be alot easier and more esthetic to be able to have all workstations and x1 of each augment in a single workshop.
