Currently fish provides bonuses to Ranged Damage and Fishing Rating. And they are incompatible. Ranged weapons can't benefit from Fishing Rating, meanwhile, fishing relies on Melee combat.
Suggestion: replace the Ranged bonus with the Melee bonus.
This ticket is related to RRBUG-I-726, where the Fishing Rating does not provide any effect.

I actually like this feature of the equipment, Not gonna lie. It forces you to compromise on your Melee for the extra rating (when it works, ofcourse). It could be a good trade-off.
