If I have discarded soem parts from the inventory to the ground because they are too heavy, for example, and I build something, then when I automatically insert the materials that the build requires, all the discarded parts are added back to the inventory. This is a bug because I have discarded the materials.

Thank you for bringing this our attention.
When you drop/discard the items, are they within range of the 'collect all' function when holding down [E]?
When adding materials to your blueprint, it it possible that the player is also collecting the available items.
Only items that are close by are moved to the inventory
