Ever since I updated my game, any time I go into my house.. it's pitch black. I have chandeliers everywhere. Wall lights. Floor lights. What little light that is provided isn't enough. Effectively renders a huge part of why I enjoy this game.. null and void. Can't enjoy the building aspect of it if you cant see the work you put into it. In one room alone I have 15 or 16 lights.. and there is still a pitch black swathe down the middle where the lights cant reach.
Exactly. I really get into the interior decor part of this, and I don't enjoy being in my estate after the very weird switch between dusk and dark, where the lights both massively intensify and have stark fall off and leave giant dark areas. To properly light things, I'd need a million floor lamps in the middle of walkways, and that would burn a lot of build limit, so I just pretty much gave up. I just sleep anytime it gets to night, which sucks because nighttime with glowy lights is my absolute favorite aesthetic, but it only looks pretty at dusk and dawn.
