magic is /can be clunky


so as the title said magic is clunky

1 its one cast at a time (so you cast arborist shield then try cast anything else nope why it feels bad like why bother for most offensive magic if i can only use 1 il just cast shield and shoot shit or you know bash stuff so ya i get it the stoping stacking buffs i think its stupid but doesn't matter just me but how about 1 buff and 1 other non buff)

2 cast speed can be lacking looking mainly at charging (movement speed could be added to cast speed just a thought ?)

3 less then effective the it should be this is looking at utility spells bramble wall is really just unusable with other as it blocks movement ( wall needs to ether be climbed or walk through for players and recruits other spells regrowth is absolutely useless range is tiny and only regrows base stuff also no trees just plants or ore way to niche but its biggest crime is its durability loss for cast is wtf lvls like 4 ish till item will break thats at mystic so piz remove it or preferably unfuck this shit (grenades are similar in the durability loss) another spell is illuminate the light is a sad excuse for light source ether make it stronger add tiers or give it a charger for better light {tracking spells are hard to see) could add multi cast instead of only 1 but thats bonus

4 i would like to see staffs added could be like a bo staff or what Youd think of as a wizard staff

idk this is what i see and what may be a fix for it give or take but thats all

    Magic should have its own tool bar, say F1-F5 or something.

    Magic indeed needs some work; the fact that you can't use the umbrella after casting hermetic flame for example is also super annoying. Because gliding with the umbrella has you holding it with 2 hands you lose the buff on your weapon.

    Can also agree the charge time on stuff like the new fireball is also way too big. It can be nice for an opening move but it's too weak to cast over and over imo, I'm better off whipping out a 2h tool or a scythe to kill them much easier & faster. The dmg increase also seems neglectable.

    I haven't tried it recently but regrowth should def work for trees though? It's fine that it's niche, oberon's bounty is also niche lol but prob the most vital farming spell we have. But these two together make farming really easy. Haven't rly needed to bother with regrowth in this version but might be useful if it brings back ores so I'll have to give that a try

    And they're working on adding more weapons, all we need to do is have patience :P
