Recruit combat settings let it take the initiative too much

They can detect and charge after enemies one floor down. I don't even know where they went unless I open my map. If they went downstairs I sometimes don't even know how and have to find the route myself.

I could set them to no-combat but when enemies approach I have to hunt them down and activate them for combat again.

They respond too slowly to player position changes so when you approach them they run toward where you were previously, often out of interaction range.


Really don't know why they are so awkwardly coded. Recommend you look at SWTOR companions.
