Azazel fight is underwhelmingly Grindy. the Healing paired with high health and the trees being immune unless the heal phase starts is rough. i suggest either capping how much Azazel can heal per phase or allow a player to focus on the trees any time during the fight.

I disagree. I thought he was way too easy. I killed him before he even had a chance to really heal from the trees. Unfortunately, this was because the immolation spell is so overpowered and can dish out like 1500 damage before depleting stamina from a level 20 axe.
I agree. Something needs to change with this boss fight. Maybe have 1 less tree to chop down. It would use less assets while still keeping the mechanics.
I also think that bosses that recover are treated as a stress factor in most games, so they should not suddenly appear (and if not done well, they will recover all of them) this early in the game.
It is an OK - ish fight, but I had more trouble fighting regular bears than this one. (Champion diff) Azazel standing still to cast the thorny barriers is actually really helpful for the player as it allows one to heal and/or reload. I am sorry to say this fight is mostly boring once you figure out it is basically ring around the rosie with a twist.
Agreed. The trees should be targetable.
