This post is to call attention to the Harvester's Workshop minor realm card, and the fact that its stated effects description is both misleading and incorrect, and I have highlighted in bold the incorrect part. I have included multiple screenshots of the cards description, to demonstrate the areas referenced in the body of this post.
The cards description states:
"Play this card to craft tools that offer greater yield and reduced stamina cost, but lower damage."
This card states that the tools that are crafted with it will offer greater yield, however, this is not the case. The description that Workbenches receive whilst this card is active is the following:
Crafted tools have Stamina Cost -, Weight --, Melee Damage -
The description itself here makes no mention of any Yield adjustments (image #1).
However, when you view the Map with this card active, it shows the following effect (image #2):
Increased yield from resource nodes.
This is not stated upon the card prior to crafting (image #3 - I have highlighted the descriptive element), nor upon the card in the Player's inventory (image #4, no mention of yield changes at all), nor upon the card when being played or active in the Transmuter (image #5), and also not in the Progression menu (image #6).
With testing, it has been determined that this "increased yield from resource nodes" equates to a roughly +50% yield (rounded down), and only applies whilst this card is active in the realm.
It has zero yield benefits to tools crafted with it active, and this causes -significant- confusion among the Players wishing to use this card, and must be fixed for clarity.
Additionally, the yields gained from this card are -terrible- for when it is acquired in the progression. At the exact same stage of the game, Players gain access to the Greenhouse, Lumbermill, and Quarry cards, each providing significantly better yield results than the Harvester's Card, and the Forge card in the very next progression stage.
This means the use for this particular card exists solely for gem nodes, and not attractively so. The Ghost card has the exact same beneficial yield effect, yet costs -significantly- more to craft, and has -much- greater clarity, and has a decent drawback attached to it to balance the benefits, which Harvester's card also does not have.
Suggested Fix:
Please simply allow this card to directly effect the yields of the tools crafted with it active, exactly as what the majority of the description implies it does. Have tools crafted with this minor card gain Stamina Cost -, Weight --, Melee Damage -, and Yield +
Please let this card -finally- do what it should be doing, what the descriptions give the Player the understanding of, and what everyone hopes it does when first acquiring it.
This gives it significant use at all stages of the game, and the increased Yield should apply to all resources, not simply nodes. A hunting knife made with this card should have increased yield, as should a sickle, or any tool used for any resource. It should be universal.
Additionally, this card should also be available at an earlier stage than currently it is, or its material components for crafting should be adjusted to appropriately higher tier components.
